We love Chinese food too but have really given up on it because their sauces do not have wholesome ingredients. I too have found a few ways to make my own version of some dishes but this is a new one and I could see us trying this . I bet you could add steamed broccoli tossed in at the end to make a chicken and broccoli ish. Thanks for posting at Funtastic Friday.

Loved this recipe!! It is not the typical sweet and sour sauce that is thick and orange that you get from a takeout restaurant . It was a much lighter version and the taste was just right. The chicken was super tender. We put over jasmine rice.

I put the chicken, salt, pepper, cornstarch and beaten eggs in a ziploc bag and squished it around. Easier cleanup than a bowl.

I will definitely make this again!!
